In the fall of 2007, NfP took a break from their grueling concert schedule to get into the studio and record some of their favorite covers. The booked some time at Abbey Road West Studios (in Jim Fitch's basement in Lake in the hills, but believe me, the spirit of George Martin and the fab four were definitely present!). With just one take and and no post-recording processing needed (seriously, Jim was just packaging the product for the subsequent couple months!) we put together our demo disk. The six tunes we recorded in those to-be-famous recording sessions are recorded to the MP3 player below. After this page loads a random cut will perform from our playlist. You can, of course, select any other cut by using the slider on the right of the player, repeat a cut, turn volume up or down AND by clicking the yellow down facing arrow you can download any of our tunes. We hope you enjoy the music and appreciate that you were there at the beginning of the NfP revolution!

You can still access our live show from Sept. 3 at Gabe's. Just click on the plus sign next to the link in the Wimpy player. Having access to this live material is akin to having live recordings of The Beatles at the Casbah Club in late 1960. Valuable stuff.

Well...could be.

Below is our first attempt at a music video. Hardly world class...but it's fun, please enjoy. CLICK HERE.
